Position Purpose:

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to coordinate services and ensure a seamless patient experience. Your clinical expertise, compassionate communication, and commitment to quality care will make a lasting difference in the lives of the patients we serve. We’re looking for a reliable, team-oriented RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about promoting health and wellness in a Primary Care setting.

What You Will Do

  • Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively
  • Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members
  • Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided. 
  • Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.   
  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited R.N. program.
  • Licensure: Current Connecticut R.N. license required; CPR required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
  • Experience: Competent in a Windows-based computer system. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Multi-tasking, problem solving and decision-making skills required. Ability to organize, analyze and interpret clinical data. High level of dependability and accuracy required.
  • Experience: 2 years of related clinical and/or hospital experience, or previous experience in a hospital or ambulatory care setting preferred.
