Intensive Care Nurse

Now Hiring: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) | $70/hr | Days | Summer Contract

Location: Southampton, NY |

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Duration: 13-week Contract (6/23/25 – 9/20/25)

Join one of Long Island’s premier healthcare teams this summer as a Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This contract RN opportunity offers competitive pay, shared housing if desired, and the chance to work in a collaborative environment using advanced systems.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $70 per hour
• 13-week contract
• Shared housing available at reduced rate: $1,650/month
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
• 3x12 day shift schedule

Requirements:

• Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical care assessment and documentation skills
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments based on age-specific data
• Complete and document initial and ongoing evaluations and interventions
• Monitor patient response to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and referrals for post-acute care
• Support team members in the delivery of safe and effective care
